When do you all go live

I used to work up there a lot and it was offensive at first, smells like fertilizer certain times of the year. I got used to it over time and began to appreciate things about it. It's got a subtle charm that gets under your skin then, in the future, you can't believe you actually miss the place.

This was a really informative video for us scholars of Art, Architecture and Design. Hats off, to the people who produced this video.

What a powerhouse! His work is powerful and although in a lot of cases autobiographical, it is not so personal to the artist that it stops you immersing yourself in the piece. It is also brilliant that we have access to the artists thoughts through interviews etc. With artists from previous centuries, whilst there may be written testimony a lot of what we learnt is based on the writings etc of others. I would have to agree that asking yourself or someone else to define your mission statement, philosophy, life plan or favorite anything is way too difficult and limiting. However, if you add "my current....." (fill in the blank), it becomes easy to articulate, kinda fun, and subject to change without warning

Well sir, there’s a couple of things not mentioned. Age plays a big part in a mans ability to do such a task but a woman couldn’t at any age. Trying to pander to the masses is not going to work with me. I know several men that can’t change a flat, I also know several men that can’t push a car BUT! If anyone has ever faced this problem I can guarantee you that they will never consider a woman to help complete the task. You guy’s come on here and attempt to make women believe that they are something that they are NOT! Since the beginning of time a woman’s role has been defined. It’s people like YOU that spread these false narratives. BTW, tell your uncle that if he was more responsible, he wouldn’t be depending on car that you have to push off the road

This is an exceptional point! I wish more people had this mindset about gender stereotypes. It’s harmful to everyone and can really limit what people feel they’re able to accomplish.

You need to preach that to women I see standing on the side of road looking for someone to change their tire or push it off the road. That role is definitely gender assigned. Prove me wrong.

Another artist whose actual life is probably best known to the masses through the novel and subsequent film, Girl With A Pearl Earring. [I need to find out more to see if this popularised version of the man and his life is as heinous as Lust For Life was to VVG] He had a definite style. His composition always feels cramped at first glance but then you see the depth and space, or, the subject appears swamped by the back ground. An interesting addition to the Canon of Art 101 with Mr Burgher and one I'd like to see again at some time in the future. Thank you for sharing

This was cool, really like the editing style. And yeah, folks forget that (especially family) photography was trying to emulate the official portraiture that came before it. Gotta look dignified.

I was thinking the other day 'I wonder if Mr Burgher will do his artist v artist challenge this year' Lo and behold he did. Some interesting match ups in there. Some shock early eliminations and unexpected round winners. In the end though I feel the chosen winner has the chops to validate being the champion of Art Madness 2024 I did miss not being able to participate like last year but with the expanded bracket it wouldn't have been feasible. Great video, as always
